Installing an ACCUSQUARE FENCE will give you the precision and
reliability you are looking for!
QUESTION: I have an out feed table
at the rear of my saw. Can your fence be used without the back
rail?
ANSWER: Yes. As with most front locking fences the
fence can be used without a back rail and the saws top can be
used to support the back of the fence.
QUESTION: My old Beaver Rockwell
has a projection on the front and rear edge of the top. Can your
fence system be installed on this old saw?
ANSWER: We have a set of adapters available at no
charge. These will allow for easy installation of the Accusquare
fence on your saw. In addition, these adapters allow for
installation on a wide variety of saws that have thinner
tabletops or saws with irregular front edges such as Ryobi or
Hitachi.
QUESTION: I have a Shopsmith. Will
your fence fit?
ANSWER: Yes the fence will fit your Skopsmith. The
only problem is the ability to remove the fence quickly to set
up other operations. We have available a special set of adapters
that allow for quick on and off. These are ideal for Shopsmith
owners and for other saws or band saws that have a need for
quick removal of the fence system. A set of adapters is
available for $9.99 US or $14.00 CDN.
QUESTION: I need a
better fence system for my Laguna 16”, one that I can add a wide
face board to for sawing wider boards. Can your fence your fence
fit and will it accept facer boards?
ANSWER: This is the type of saw that our fence was
developed for. Don’t let the fact that it fits smaller saws or
is priced less than most other band saw fences distract you. The
T-Slots, that most other fences do not have, allow you to add
facer boards to firmly support wider stock when re-sawing.
QUESTION: I have a General cabinet
type saw. Will your sliding table fit?
ANSWER: Yes. Our sliding table will fit all contractor
and cabinet type saws. On some cabinet saws the wheel on the
left hand side gets in the way of our support bracket. We have
an extension available, at no charge, to accommodate this
situation.
QUESTION: How is the router table
attached to the saw?
ANSWER: The router table is held on by the rip fence
rails and can also be attached to the side of the saw top if the
extension wing is removed.
QUESTION: What holds the router
fence in place?
ANSWER: The router fence is held in place by the
T-Slots on the Accusquare fence system. The fence is held in
place by the side T-Slot and the dust collection plate is held
in place by the top T-Slot.
QUESTION: Your router plate is
small. How can it be used with a large router?
ANSWER: Most router plates were designed before the
advent of the 3 ¼ HP routers. To prevent sagging and bouncing
during router operations, we designed the smallest plate
possible. To remove our router plate the router is lifted
slightly and tipped out the bottom of the table.
QUESTION: If I get your fence
system, and in the future I get a new saw, can I remount your
fence?
ANSWER: Yes.
And to help you celebrate your new saw we will provide you with
a new tape at no charge.
